Contact us
Email admin@globalfishingleague.com. Tell us which device you are on and, if it concerns a specific catch, roughly when you logged it — that is usually enough to find the record.
Membership and billing
Membership is $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, and the first 90 days are free. It is billed through the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly, which means your receipts, payment method and renewal date all live in your Apple or Google account.
Cancelling your membership
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Global Fishing League. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the renewal. Your logbook and your whole catch history stay where they are on the free tier — you keep fish identification, your catch locations, and the date and time stamps.
Refunds
Because Apple and Google process the payments, refunds are handled by them. Request one through Apple's "Report a Problem" page or Google Play's order history. Email us as well if something has gone wrong and we will help.
Common problems
A fish was identified incorrectly
You can override any identification with your own label, so the record stays accurate. A clear, well-lit photo of the whole fish against a plain background gives the best result. If a species is consistently wrong, email us the photo — that is the most useful thing you can send us.
My catches are not syncing
Catches logged without reception are stored on the device and upload once you are back in range. If a catch has not appeared after you have had a stable connection, open the app while connected and leave it in the foreground for a moment, then check the logbook again.
A catch has no weather or water data
The full per-catch weather and water readings are a membership feature, so check your membership is active. They also depend on a GPS fix at the moment you log the fish — if location permission was off, or the fix had not landed yet, there is no mark to attach conditions to.
Location permission
Catch locations need location access. On iPhone this is under Settings, Privacy & Security, Location Services. On Android it is under Settings, Location, App permissions. Your marks stay private either way — see theprivacy policy.
Your data
Exporting your catch history
Your full history is exportable, timestamped and GPS-stamped, which is what tournament paperwork and record claims need.
Deleting your account
Email admin@globalfishingleague.com from the address on your account and ask for deletion. Your rights over your data, including access and deletion, are set out in the privacy policy.
